About Me

Hello, my name is Sweta and I’m a crafter from NJ, happily immersed in creative projects from my cozy crafty space up in the attic. I'm so glad you stopped by. I grew up in the western state of Gujarat in India. And if you know India - its a vibrant country full colors, cultures and traditions. As a child I often participated in various art competitions, won awards and sometimes even had my work appear in my local newspapers!

Although my degrees are in Finance and Accounting I've always had a crafty, creative side that cannot sit idle without a new medium to explore. I’m a passionate creator who loves exploring a variety of artistic mediums, from crochet and knitting to watercolors, oil painting, Rangoli (Indian sand art), and of course card-making. The process of learning and experimenting with new techniques is what fuels my creativity, and this ongoing journey shapes my unique artistic style. Whether I’m working with Copics, Karins, Distress Inks, colored pencils, alcohol inks, or watercolors, I thrive on experimenting with new materials and approaches to bring my ideas to life.

Lately, I've had a chance to travel across the United States attending various card and scrapbooking expos teaching Make and Takes (quick 15 min card projects) as well as teaching mix media style classes to crafters.

While my full time job as a Home Engineer for 2 kids + hubby (aka - SAHM) still takes priority most days I am finally able to dedicate more time to creating crafty projects. When I'm not chauffeuring, cheffing or checking homework you'll find me in my happy spot - my craft table in the attic surrounded by what my husband calls a "small craft store".

Besides crafting I absolutely love a good cup (or two!) of Indian masala chai with ginger! When I am not crafting you'll find me skiing in the winters, on the beach in the summers and enjoying life in the company of my friends and family any other time! Now that you've read a little bit about me I hope we can connect via the socials or email.

Happy Crafting!
